Former Chelsea defender reckons Tottenham star Udogie is Premier League's best left-back

Former Chelsea defender Scott Minto is the latest admirer of Destiny Udogie as he has stated that the Tottenham Hotspur star is arguably the best left-back in the Premier League.
Udogie has settled into the Premier League like a duck to the water, establishing himself as one of the vital players for the newly-look Spurs team under Ange Postecoglou.
Since the start of the season, the 21-year-old has failed to start just one game across all competitions he has been available for selection, which was in the Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham last September, underscoring how good he has been.
He has earned a lot of praise since the inception of the campaign from various pundits with Minto being the latest to shower encomiums on him.
Speaking to Premier League All Access Podcast via TBR, the former Chelsea fullback didn't only praise Udogie but also revealed how highly he rated him.
"I have to say I think he's arguably been the best left-back in the Premier League. He gives so much going forwards, and defensively, except for in that Brentford game where he was involved in all five goals.
"He's very good, and you need athletes to play Ange Postecoglou's style, and for him to come in is a big boost for Spurs,".
The Italian-born defender returned to action for Tottenham yesterday in their dramatic 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, having missed their league game against Wolves due to a knee injury.
He has now made 24 appearances across all competitions this season and has five goal involvements to his credit.
