Paris Saint-Germain willing to sign Chelsea target Victor Osimhen for N115.3b
Published: April 13, 2024
According to Corriere dello Sport, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to offer €90m (approximately N115.3 billion in Nigerian currecny) for Victor Osimhen but their bid is set to be rejected by Napoli whose stance on the valuation of the Super Eagles forward remains unchanged at the moment.
As stated in the report, the offer is a distance away from the 25-year-old's release clause which is said to be €130m and Napoli aren't ready to accept any lesser offer.
The Serie A defending champions and PSG are no business strangers to each other as the latter club bought Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edison Cavani and more recently Fabián Ruiz from the former.
The Parisians would be hoping to use the existing relationship with the Italian side to secure a deal for Osimhen but will have to work their socks off to make that happen particularly with Chelsea also keen on signing the lanky forward.
Osimhen's other Premier League suitors include Manchester United, who were heavily linked with the Nigerian last summer, and Arsenal.
Napoli are unlikely to reduce the valuation of their star striker for any interested party as the club led by Aurelio de Laurentiis have been known to be tough negotiators.
More so, they are also planning to make use of the windfall from the sale of the Nigeria international to reinvest in the squad in the summer.
