Newcastle United, Bournemouth join Aston Villa, Tottenham in race for Italian-Nigerian right-back

Two other Premier League clubs have joined Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign talented Italian-Nigerian right-back Michael Kayode.
According to Italian transfer market guru Alfredo Pedullà,Newcastle United and Bournemouth have joined Spurs and the Lions in the running for the signature of the Fiorentina right back.
Kayode had a banner season for the Violets in the Serie A last term, featuring in 26 games and chipping in three goal involvements, and was considered as the best right-back in the division by whoscored.com.
He was linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window and is now being heavily courted by Aston Villa due to the uncertainty regarding the future of Matty Cash.
Tottenham have also been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old with the north London side looking for a replacement for Emerson Royal who has been linked with AC Milan.
Newcastle and Bournemouth are the latest English clubs exploring the possibility of signing the Italy youth international this summer.
The Magpies interest may be unrelated to reports stating that Kieran Trippier wants a departure this summer for the Saudi Pro-League with a potential exit leaving the club with the onus to find another right back.
Fiorentina are said to be open to letting Kayode leave, but have to receive the right offer which has been reported to be €20m plus bonuses.
