Five minutes into the second halfb stoppage time , Ayoze Pérez gave the away the winning goal with a volley which couldn't be stopped by Orjan Nyland
Ejuke was received with enthusiasm by the fans due to his flair, giving Villarreal right back Sergi Cardona a run for his money.
He came close to putting the home side ahead in the first minute of the stoppage time but was denied by the goalkeeper Diego Conde before trying to set up Iheanacho who couldn't keep his pass in play.
Iheanacho didn't make the matchday squad for the opening clash against Las Palmas last Friday while Ejuke was an unused substitute.
