Fully committed: Chelsea centre-back Tosin will not join West Ham amid rumours of loan move
Published: December 07, 2024
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively confirm with certainty that Tosin Adarabioyo will remain at Chelsea amid viral reports linking the central defender to a loan move to London rivals West Ham United in the January transfer window.
French media reports have indicated that West Ham are keen on bolstering their defence and have shown interest in London-born Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
It was suggested that the former Manchester City youth team captain might be enticed by the opportunity to take on this new challenge as it would guarantee him regular playing time with the Hammers.
However, there is no truth to the reports as Tosin is fully committed to Chelsea and has no plans to depart Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer market.
The dual-national player completed his move to Chelsea on July 1 on a four-year deal, after turning down a new contract that would have made him one of the highest earners at Fulham.
Considering that Tosin has been called up for every game played by Chelsea this season, except for the Carabao Cup fixture against Barrow, he is undoubtedly part of manager Enzo Maresca's plans.
The Chelsea number four has played the full 90 minutes in five of the six UEFA Conference League games contested by the Blues, including the qualifying rounds, and has made three starts in the Premier League.
