'Windows are not closed abroad' - Cardiff City boss reveals Super Eagles LB is searching for new club

Cardiff City coach Omer Riza has commented on the future of Super Eagles left-back Jamilu Collins, stating that the defender is in search of a new club.
The club's January transfer window has closed, and it appears the Nigerian international is not in the plans of the Bluebirds moving forward.
The 30-year-old has struggled to regain his spot in the Cardiff City team due to a combination of injury and stiff competition from his teammates.
The defender suffered an injury setback during pre-season and was sidelined for the team's opening seven games. Since his return to fitness, Collins has found himself behind Callum O'Dowda and Joel Bagan in the left-back pecking order.
The demotion is likely to be frustrating for Collins, who has been an important player for Cardiff City in the past.
However, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, it seems that the club is already planning for life without him.
Collins was eligible to begin discussing terms with other clubs in the past month, and it is likely that he will be looking to secure a new deal elsewhere.
"At the moment, JC is searching for another club," said the gaffer as quoted by Wales Online.
"We've had good, honest chats. The windows are not closed abroad, so things might still happen there.
"In the meantime, he'll continue to act professionally and train in order to play games. I'm not sure what will happen with that."
Collins' last appearance for Cardiff City was in late November 2024, and he has not featured in the squad since then.
With the transfer window still open in some countries, including Turkey and the MLS, Collins may still have options available to him.
