Published: April 03, 2025
Nigeria U20 international Daniel Daga has seen his stock rise after making his debut in European competition in February.
Football statistics and transfer market website Transfermarkt has updated the market value of players in the Eliteserien, the top division of Norwegian football, with the defensive midfielder now rated at 400,000 euros (approximately N679 million in Nigerian currency).
Daga made his Molde and European debut on February 20, 2025, coming off the bench for the final twenty five minutes against Irish opponents Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Conference League and converted a spot kick in the shootout.
Widely regarded as one of the the most talented teenagers in his homeland, the 18-year-old joined Molde from FC One Rocket in the January transfer window.
His second appearance for Molde also came in the Conference League, against Legia Warsaw last month.
Although he was called up for Molde's season opener in the Eliteserien, the former Enyimba man was an unused substitute.
Daga had a sensational debut for Molde's reserve side in the Norsk Tipping-Ligaen avdeling 2, bagging two assists in a 4-2 loss to Nardo FK.
Daga trained with the Flying Eagles before completing his transfer to Molde in the winter market.
