Super Eagles forward Chukwueze to hold showdown talks with Allegri over AC Milan future
Published: June 30, 2025
Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to hold decisive talks with new AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri to determine his future at the club ahead of the 2025-2026 season.
Chukwueze, who signed for the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023, has struggled to live up to expectations in Serie A.
The 26-year-old has managed just eight goals and six assists in 69 appearances across all competitions, sparking questions over his long-term role at the San Siro.
His underwhelming performance has fueled transfer speculation, with reports linking him to potential moves back to La Liga or the Premier League.
.According to Corriere dello Sport, via Milan Press, the Nigerian international will meet Allegri in the coming days to discuss his place in the squad.
The experienced Italian coach, tasked with rebuilding AC Milan after a disappointing campaign, is expected to outline his vision and clarify Chukwueze’s chances of featuring prominently in the upcoming season.
With pre-season preparations set to begin soon, Chukwueze is eager to prove himself and convince Allegri that he deserves a continued stay in Milan.
The forward hopes to finally unlock his full potential and make a meaningful impact in the red and black jersey.
