N134b or nothing: Napoli yet to respond as Galatasaray increase bid for Osimhen
Published: July 11, 2025
Turkish Super Lig Champions Galatasaray have submitted a new transfer offer of €75 million (N134 billion in Nigerian currency) to Napoli for in-demand forward Victor Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Just hours after Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis rejected a €70 million offer for the Super Eagles star, Galatasaray have dug deeper into their coffers to get a deal for Osimhen over the line.
The improved offer for the 26-year-old will be an immediate €40 million fee and €35 million in instalments.
Galatasaray have also provided bank guarantees as requested by Napoli to agree to the deal.
As of now, Napoli have not responded to the latest proposal from Galatasaray
After weeks of back and forth concerning a transfer to land Osimhen, Galatasaray will be confident of re-signing the 2023 African Footballer of the Year after meeting the minimum fee required to land Nigerian goalscorer.
Osimhen's favoured destination for the 2025-26 campaign is Galatasaray, after rejecting a bumper offer of €40 million per year from Al-Hilal.
Osimhen, who enjoyed a dream loan transfer with Galatasaray last season, won the hearts of fans with his performances.
Should Napoli give the green light for the transfer to proceed, it would be their most important signing this transfer market.
