Confirmed: Super Falcons eligible midfielder joins Tottenham Hotspur's PGA
Published: July 28, 2025
Tottenham Hotspur Women have confirmed, via a statement on their official website, the addition of seven new players to their Under-19 squad ahead of the 2025–2026 Professional Game Academy League season.
Among the new intake is Mife Aramide, who is eligible to represent ten-time African champions, the Super Falcons.
A midfielder by trade, Aramide is no stranger to U19s football, having featured for the squad on a number of occasions during the 2024-2025 season.
She has been promoted to Tottenham Hotspur U19 squad after impressing in the younger age groups.
Sophie Jackson, Holly-Mae Elmes, Eloise Summers-Mee, Cairo-Evea Antoine, Poppy Neill and Grace Bellwood have also made the step up to the PGA.
Spurs U19s coach Sabiha Jamal said: "The quality of the seven players stepping up from the Under-16s shows the strength and success of our Academy pathway.
"It’s a privilege to be able to strengthen our Under-19s squad internally with home-grown players who all impressed last season in the younger age groups and even in their cameos with the Under-19s last season, so they know what it takes to compete at this level.
"I’m looking forward to their next steps with the Under-19s and seeing how much they continue to develop this campaign."
The PGA is a revised player pathway which replaced the FA WSL Academy in 2023.
The PGA structure provides young players with the opportunity to be selected as part of a professional club’s programme, combining football development with their education.
