England U18s coach Neil Ryan has named a 27-player roster for the internationals in October, with six players of Nigerian descent part of the group.
Goalkeepers Owen Asemota and Lanre Awesu, defender Wesley Okoduwa, midfielders Ifeoluwa Ibrahim and Landon Emenalo, and striker Chizaram Ezenwata have been selected for the Young Lions' double header against France at St. George's Park.
Landon is the son of former Super Eagles left-back Michael Emenalo who made a splash at the 1994 Fifa World Cup in the United States, playing as cover for the injured Benedict Iroha.
The Chelsea starlet is also eligible to represent the United States, in addition to England and Nigeria, and the same applies to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Wesley, who is the son of former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Okoduwa.
