SAMSON GODWIN Speaks On FC Minsk Switch
Published: June 16, 2012
Former Gabros midfielder Samson Godwin has commented on his recent switch from FC Karpaty, Ukraine to Belarusian team FC Minsk.
''The move to Minsk was possible because of my agent. I discussed the matter with my wife. She first told me: "Is it worth a try in Belarus,'' Godwin was quoted as saying by sportpanorama.by.
When asked on his impression of Minsk, Godwin told the newspaper: ''Clean, neat town. And it is unusual for a city. Minsk and Lviv - totally different. Minsk is more modern, while the other was old.''
Godwin was a second half substitute in the 0-1 loss to capital club and bitter rivals Dinamo Minsk on Friday.
