SANI KAITA Starts Training With Olympiakos Nicosia
Published: September 18, 2012
Nigerian midfielder Sani Kaita had his first training session with Cypriot club Olympiakos Nicosia on Tuesday.
He had been scheduled to arrive the capital since last week, but had a problem processing his traveling document.
Nikodimos Papavasiliou, coach of the three-time league champions, is assessing Kaita's physical condition to know his suitability for Sunday's home game against Ethnikos Achna.
The terms and financial details of Kaita's new contract with Olympiakos Nicosia have not been disclosed. He joins compatriot Chidi Onyemah at The Green Blacks who are placed sixth in the championship after two rounds played.
Sani Kaita, former Kano Pillars star, previously had spells in France, Holland, Ukraine, Russia and Greece.
