Maccabi Tel Aviv Coach Praises NOSA IGIEBOROscar Garcia Junyent , coach of Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, has praised the Nigeria international and Real Betis midfielder Nosa Igiebor, writes diariodesevilla.es.

The Spanish coach said that Igiebor, who is in the Nigeria squad that plays Liberia on Saturday afternoon, would be a good summer signing if he is well handled by the Betis management.

Before Igiebor penned a multi - year contract with Betis in August, Oscar Garcia had recommended the former Hapoel Tel Aviv star to the club.

Garcia told the club chiefs that Igiebor is a great midfielder, very disciplined, does a great job of helping a team, and the best foreigner that played in Israel last season.

However,  similar to the language problem the Super Eagle experienced in Norway and Israel, he must learn Spanish to enable him communicate better with his teammates in the dressing room, and understand the game plan of coach Mel.

Following Igiebor's failure to settle quickly at Betis, the club checked him out of the hotel he had been staying and moved him to a new apartment. Also, Spanish language classes have been arranged for him.

Nosa Igiebor has made three appearances ( one start) for Real Betis in Spain's top flight.
