Vincent Eneyama Could Return To Lille
Published: December 24, 2012
There are strong hints in the Israeli media that Nigeria custodian Vincent Enyeama will return to Lille on the expiration of his loan deal at the end of the season.
One. co.il says following the departure of Mickaël Landreau to Bastia in the winter transfer market, Lille are short in the goalkeeping department and will turn down a request by The Yellows to extend the loan agreement of Enyeama.
The Super Eagle has contractual obligations with Lille until June 2014. He had expected to snatch the number one jersey from Landreau in his first season in France but that ended in futility.
Seeking match time ahead of the African Cup, Enyeama joined Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer transfer market. Now, there is every indication he will return to Lille and be handed the number one jersey.
