Besiktas Renew Interest In John Utaka

According to Fanatik, Istanbul giants Besiktas are not giving up in their bid to sign the Montpellier forward John Utaka. The Turkish sports daily says there has been contact between the Besiktas hierarchy and Utaka's entourage.
Under contract with Montpellier until June 2013, Utaka is expected to cost one million euros in transfer fee. The leaders of Besiktas hope to get a favorable response from Montpellier and John Utaka in the coming days.
Only last week, the Super Eagle was linked with Al-Gharafa and Al-Khor . However, the Qatari clubs did not back their interest with an official bid to Montpellier .
John Utaka has played for teams in Egypt, England, France and Qatar.
