Agboebina Osi Lucky Bags Second Hat-trick Of The Season
Published: April 02, 2013
St Georges striker Agboebina Osi Lucky bagged a hat - trick against San Gwann on Monday in the Maltese Second Division and was delighted to claim the match ball for the second time this season.
Despite the heroics of Agboebina, his team will have to settle for second place after Zebbug Rangers were crowned champions following their 5 - 1 spanking of Kirkop at the Charles Abela Stadium.
''I am thrilled to score a hat - trick, thanks to the contribution of my teammates. But I am massively disappointed that we could not catch up with Rangers in the race for the second division title.
''We have to look beyond the disappointment and get ready for our next game against Mellieha.
''There are four games to go before the end of the season. It would be nice if I score 20 goals . And that would mean I have beaten the personal target I set for myself before the season started,'' Agboebina told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Mosta, Naxxar Lions and Floriana are believed to keeping tabs on Lucky Agboebina, who becomes a free agent in the summer.
