German transfer expert Florian Plettenberg has revealed Galatasaray’s response to a verbal offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen during the current summer window.
Osimhen, who has been a key figure for the Yellow-Reds since joining from Napoli, has been linked with a move away from Rams Park despite his impressive performances.
Since moving to Istanbul, the Nigerian international has scored 59 goals and provided 16 assists in 74 appearances across all competitions.
His outstanding form has increased speculation surrounding his future, with Al Hilal reportedly making a verbal offer worth €130m in an attempt to convince Galatasaray to part ways with their star striker.
The Saudi club reportedly view Osimhen as a potential replacement for former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
According to Plettenberg, the proposal was made directly to Galatasaray through an intermediary acting on behalf of Al Hilal.
“Galatasaray were offered €130m for Victor Osimhen yesterday via an intermediary acting for Al-Hilal. The offer was made verbally,” Plettenberg said via his social media.
However, Plettenberg revealed that Galatasaray have no intention of entering negotiations over the Nigerian international at this stage.
“Galatasaray are not willing to negotiate at this stage and have no intention of entering talks,” he concluded.
With the start of the 2026/2027 season approaching, Osimhen will be keen to resolve his future and remain focused on maintaining his impressive form for Galatasaray.
