Warri Wolves Striker Onyekachi Okafor Replaces Crocked Brown Ideye
Ahead of the back - to - back friendlies against Uganda and South Africa in Uyo and Nelspruit respectively, the Super Eagles handlers have handed a late call - up to Warri Wolves striker Onyekachi Okafor.<br /><br />West Brom forward Brown Ideye will have to wait to play his first game for the national team in over a year after he pulled out of the squad due to a knee injury. <br /><br />The same ailment saw him miss The Baggies clash with Manchester City in the English Premier League this past weekend.<br /><br />“We’re hoping Brown will be OK. I hoped he’d be fit on Saturday but he’s still feeling it and I couldn’t take the chance,” said manager Tony Pulis.<br /><br />Brown Ideye is in a race to be fit for West Brom’s next official fixture, which comes up on April 4 against Queens Park Rangers.<br /><br />Photo Credit : Twitter<br />
