Al-Ittihad set asking price for Trabzonspor to sign George Ilenikhena

Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad have reportedly set their asking price for Nigerian-eligible forward George Ilenikhena following interest from several European clubs during the current summer window.

Born in Lagos, Ilenikhena has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Turkish side Trabzonspor, following his impressive performances in Saudi Arabia.

The young forward joined Al-Ittihad from Monaco during the winter transfer window in 2026 as a replacement for former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

He has started the new campaign in impressive fashion, scoring a brace in the 3-0 victory over Al Najmah in the King Cup of Champions.

According to Sabah Spor, Trabzonspor have contacted the Saudi Arabian club to express their interest in signing the Nigerian-eligible forward before the end of the current summer window.

The Turkish club have reportedly proposed an offer worth around €15m to convince Al-Ittihad to part ways with the Nigerian striker.

However, Al-Ittihad have rejected the proposal and are reportedly demanding €20m for any club interested in securing Ilenikhena's services this summer.

With the summer window closing in a few days, Ilenikhena will be hoping to secure a return to Europe as he looks to continue his growth and development as a player.
