Nigeria-eligible youngsters Emerson Nwaneri and Ife Ibrahim have joined Arsenal’s first-team training as manager Mikel Arteta prepares his squad for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Leeds United.
Nwaneri, the brother of Gunners loanee Ethan Nwaneri, has been in impressive form for Arsenal’s U18 side in the 2026 U18 Premier League campaign.
The youngster has scored three goals and provided one assist in five league appearances, although he is yet to make his senior debut for the Gunners.
Meanwhile, fellow academy prospect Ibrahim, who has also been regarded as a player with huge potential at Hale End, has already caught the attention of manager Mikel Arteta and made his senior debut for the club.
The young midfielder made his first-team appearance as a second-half substitute against FC Kairat in the UEFA Champions League in January 2026.
Both youngsters joined Arsenal’s first-team training session, including some of the 15 returning internationals, at the Sobha Realty Training Centre as Arteta prepares his squad for the return of Premier League action.
Nwaneri and Ibrahim are eligible to represent Arsenal in the Premier League as they are both U21 players.
