Terem Moffi has made significant progress in his recovery from a knee problem after returning to full team training with Hamburger SV ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash against TSG Hoffenheim.
The Nigerian striker had been restricted to individual work after the knee issue disrupted his preparations.
Earlier in the week, he was only able to participate in the warm-up with his teammates before continuing his session separately.
However, Moffi returned to the pitch with the entire Hamburg squad on Thursday and completed the full training session.
His progress has now put him in contention for a place in the squad for the trip to Hoffenheim.
According to Hamburg's official website, Moffi and Yussuf Poulsen had trained fully with the team, while indicating that both forwards could be available for the weekend fixture.
Moffi is also expected to complete another full training session on Friday, which would further strengthen his chances of featuring against Hoffenheim.
His return to fitness is a welcome development for the Nigerian forward, who captained the Super Eagles during their 2026 Unity Cup campaign.
