'He is dangerous' - Former Real Madrid striker full of praise for Ajax forward Arokodare

Former Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has praised the impressive performances of Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, highlighting the threat the Nigerian international poses to opposition defenders.

Arokodare has been in scintillating form since joining Eredivisie giants on loan from Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer transfer window.

The former Genk star, who endured a difficult spell in the Premier League, has quickly rediscovered his form, scoring six goals and providing two assists in nine appearances across all competitions.

Speaking on Voetbal International's Pak Schaal Podcast, Huntelaar praised Arokodare's strong start to life at the club, noting that the Nigerian has proven to be a dangerous focal point for the club.

"I think Tolu is doing well. He has scored his goals and is dangerous as a focal point when he is on the pitch," Huntelaar said.

His impressive start to the campaign earned him a recall to the Super Eagles squad for the 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.

However, Arokodare was unable to replicate his club form on the international stage, failing to score in either of Nigeria's two matches in September.

The Wolves loanee will now be looking to return to club football after the international break and continue his impressive goalscoring form.
