EXCLUSIVE: Obafemi Martins Rejects Summer Move To Trabzonspor
Published: July 31, 2013
Seattle Sounders attacker and Nigeria international Obafemi Martins has rejected the overtures of Trabzonspor as he wants to continue playing for his current employer at least for the next one year, one of the agents involved in negotiations has told allnigeriasoccer.com.
It has been reported by Fanatik that Trabzonspor were keen on signing Obafemi Martins this summer after the club failed to land their primary target Ivory Coast international Salomon Kalou.
'' Obafemi Martins was proposed to Trabzonspor, but the possibility of him joining them is very remote.
'' He wants to remain with Seattle Sounders at least for the next six months.
'' The earliest time the transfer can take place is the January transfer window or most likely next summer,'' the agent who pleaded for anonymity told allnigeriasoccer.com.
