EXCLUSIVE :Olarenwaju Kayode Confirms Hajduk Split Interest
Published: August 13, 2013
South African football website MTNFootball.com recently linked the Nigeria youth international Olarenwaju Kayode with a move to Croatia powerhouse HNK Hajduk Split.
The 20 - year - old attacker has told this portal that he is aware of the interest from Croatia but weighing other options before making a decision on whether or not to join the Whites.
'' Yes I know Hajduk Split are interested in me. I have so many offers on the table , so I have to seat down with my manager and choose the better one,'' says Olarenwaju Kayode to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Kayode, who claims to be a free agent, is playing dumb on the identities of the other clubs that are interested in his signature.
In practice , the Flying Eagles striker has been without a team for the past one year and he can't wait to bring an end to speculation surrounding his future.
Tunisians Esperance did not show enough respect to Olarenwaju Kayode as they offered him wages far below what he commands.
He was one of the big fishes at the Under 20 World Cup in Turkey and he left the competition with his reputation intact despite the Flying Eagles exiting the tournament in the second round.
