With a note on its official website, Russian Premier League side FC Ural has stated that Russian center back Adesoye Oyewole, who has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins, will play on loan at First Division Gazovik for the remainder of the season.
The 30 - year - old has spent the last six seasons with FC Ural, netting 5 goals in 126 appearances.
This season, Adesoye Oyewole is way behind manager Oleg Vasilenko's pecking order of central defenders, meaning he has to take his trade to a team where he will play on a continuous basis.
Adesoye Oyewole may not be well known locally. He has a Nigerian dad and Russian mom, who used to teach Mathematics in a secondary school in Bida , Niger State.
He is the first colored player to defend the colors of FC Ural.
