Official : Rizespor Snap Up Godfrey Oboabona On Four - Year Deal

Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona has finally ended his collaboration with Sunshine Stars after he penned a four - year contract with Rizespor on Thursday morning.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that the 23 - year - old defender will pocket 450,000 as wages every year.

In case you were not aware, the Rize based outfit will pay 650,000 euros as financial compensation to Sunshine Stars of Akure.

During negotiations, Sunshine Stars inserted  a 20 percent sell on clause in Oboabona's contract

Godfrey Oboabona, who has been handed the number 2 jersey for the rest of the season, could make his league debut on Monday when Rizespor lock horns with Trabzonspor in the second round of matches in the Super League.

He had attracted interest from teams in Ukraine, France and Spain before deciding to pitch his tent up with the Black Sea side.
