Ahmed Musa Is CSKA Moscow Player Of The Month
Published: September 06, 2013
CSKA Moscow supporters have voted for their Player of the Month of August, and more than 40 percent picked Nigeria international Ahmed Musa .
Ahmed Musa, 20, was outstanding last season as the capital team won the Russian League as well as the Cup, and he has replicated that performance at the start of this campaign.
The Super Eagles forward netted three times in August - in matches against Amkar Perm', Tom' Tomsk and Kuban' Krasnodar - and that convinced the voters to choose him ahead of Igor Akinfeevâ and Seydou Doumbia.
In the poll conducted via CSKA Moscow's official website, Musa got 41.4 % of the votes while Akinfeev and Doumbia were in second position with 34%.
