WCQ: Efe Ambrose Ready To Confront Any Team
Published: September 16, 2013
Glasgow Celtic utility man Efe Ambrose says the Super Eagles are ready to meet either one of Egypt, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Senegal or Ethiopia in the Brazil 2014 World Cup play - offs.
The draw for the final qualifying round will be conducted by the continent's governing body CAF on Monday in the Egyptian city of Luxor.
“To qualify for the world cup itself, you have to beat some of the best teams.
“It does not matter which team we will face, the most important thing is to keep our head cool, be determined and focused.
“We are African champions and it should be those others teams thinking of how they will play us and not us” Ambrose told Brila FM.
Efe Ambrose, 24, has played over 25 matches for the National Team, netting once against Liberia in October 2012.
