Ifeanyi Joseph Becomes A Hero In Romania After Scoring Against Universitatea Cluj

Little known Nigerian attacker Ifeanyi Joseph made the back pages in Romania after scoring one of the goals in Ripensia TimiÅ�oara’s 2 - 1 shock victory over Universitatea Cluj in the Cup on Tuesday, September 24.
The deeply religious Joseph, who comes from a Christian background, had lived in northern Nigeria, which is dominated by Muslims.
“My mother and brother still live there. I have no father, died when I was little. I do not know why, no one knows why.
“My older sister had a wedding and the night before the wedding, my father had dinner with a family friend.
“After eating, suddenly could not breathe and that was it,”says Ifeanyi to prosport.ro.
20 - year - old Ifeanyi Joseph arrived Romania in February 2011. He defended the colors of CS Resita Negrea before transferring to Caransebe�.
This summer, the youngster moved to Ripensia Timi�oara, where he earns less than 300 euros per month including bonuses.
The club subsidizes his living costs by providing him with accommodation and one meal every day.
