Published: October 09, 2013
Liverpool dazzler Victor Moses has insisted that the Super Eagles have a major task on their hands if they are to overcome Ethiopia in a World Cup play - off match on Sunday.
Nigeria go into the tie in Addis Ababa as the bookies favorites having lost only once in their last seven meetings against the East Africans.
But Victor Moses has cautioned against complacency and expects the Antelopes to be tough opponents.
Speaking to reporters shortly after he was unveiled as a Globacom ambassador, the ex Crystal Palace ace said: “We are ready for the battle in Addis Ababa.
“It’s going to be a tough match because we will be playing them at home but our target is to get a good result over there to make the return leg in Nigeria a simple task,.
“What matters for us now is a positive result away from home, so that we can finish the job at home in the return leg.
“I am not after scoring but helping the team get a result we will all be proud of.”
The 22 - year - old winger is expected to train with the squad for the first time on Wednesday afternoon.
