Former Nigeria international Peter Ijeh has announced his retirement and now wants to focus on coaching.
On September 28, 2012, the attacker played his last Premier League match and a week later, he left GAIS to prepare for his new career as a coach.
Peter Ijeh has approval from UEFA, the game’s governing body in Europe, to practice as a coach.
“I decided to change focus and go for coaching. Now I have both UEFA A and B coaching license, but also a candidate in sociology.
“Now the focus is on playing and team development.
“And of course, to lead a team, thanks to the experience gained over the years by working with top coaches in Scandinavia,” says Peter Ijeh to fotbolltransfers.com.
Currently, Ijeh is training a Futsal team FC Frölunda and is ready to accept higher challenges.
