Bamidele Yampolsky Undergoes Eye Surgery
Published: October 16, 2013
Hapoel Haifa midfielder Bamidele Yampolsky is not pleased that he could spend the next three months on the sidelines after injuring his eye socket in a practice game.
On Wednesday morning, the former Israel youth international underwent surgery at Rambam Hospital to correct the defect.
“Keeper of Karmiel caught me. Soon after I received the blow, I realized it was something serious.
“I never felt this side of the face and asked to be replaced because I could not stand on my feet,” says Bamidele to one.co.il.
Had it not been for the injury setback, Bamidele Yampolsky could have played his fourth game in the Premier League this coming weekend against Dele Aiyenugba’s Bnei Yehuda.
The 25 - year - old was unveiled by Hapoel Haifa on September 17.
