Fifa Ranking : Nigeria In The 33rd Position

Football’s governing body, Fifa released its monthly ranking of national teams on Thursday morning.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria, on the back of their win over Ethiopia in the World Cup play - offs, have made remarkable progress as they are ranked in the 33rd position.
In comparison with last month’s ranking, Nigeria, who are the 4th best team in Africa, climbed three places.
The Eagles next three opponents Ethiopia, Jordan and Italy are ranked 95th, 70th and 8th respectively.
European and World champions Spain continue to top the ranking followed by Germany, Argentina and Colombia.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on November 28, 2013.
