Published: November 21, 2013
Flying Eagles skipper Abdul Ajagun says he is happy to join Panathinaikos and believes he will do well for the club.
The former Dolphins midfielder penned a four - year deal in the summer transfer window for a reported fee in the region of 200,000 euros.
“First of all I want to thank God, because in the beginning it was not easy for me.
“I really want to thank the Greeks and the people of Panathinaikos and I say this because it is not easy to come to a team like Panathinaikos.
“I am happy here and I think I will make a great career in Panathinaikos,” gazzetta.gr quoted Abdul Ajagun as saying.
Abdul Ajagun wishes to don the colors of the National Team at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and is only waiting to hear from manager Stephen Keshi.
“Yes, because in football nothing is impossible. Certainly it is a matter of coach and he knows better than me. Whenever he invites me, I’m going to play my football.”
