Chinedu Obasi : I Am Happy To Be Back
Published: November 22, 2013
Nigeria international Chinedu Obasi has not played an official game for Schalke 04 for the past eight months due to a tibia operation he underwent at the end of last season.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel , with cheering news that the 27 - year - old has resumed full training with the Royal Blues.
“I feel good. I’m very happy to be back on the pitch and able to train with the lads.
“Once I can train at 100 percent with the team again, the rest will come naturally, but first I have to get back into a rhythm so I can put in good performances again,” Chinedu Obasi said to the official website of Schalke, schalke04.de.
At the moment, it remains unclear when the attacker would play his first match of this term but he wants a quick return to form.
He told the official website : “I want to rediscover the form I had whilst at Hoffenheim. I hope I can help the team again soon. I feel better now than I have for the past two years.”
