ALAO CRAVES RENEWED 3SC,APPRECIATES OUSTED BOARD

Following the recent sack of all board of parastatals by Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi which affected the management board of Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, the commissioner for Youths and Sports in the state, Farouk Alao has thanked the Tunde Anifowose-Kelani led board over their efforts to improve the fortune of the club during their shott stay at the helms of affairs.
The Commissioner, who revealed this while speaking with newsmen in Ibadan said the former management board for 3SC had actually done their best for the traditional clubside while wishing them success in the future endenvour.
Alao however, expressed deep displeasure over the present state of the club, saying the desire of every Shooting Stars fans is a formidable side and that is what he also wanted.
He afterward called on all stakeholders to come be at Lekan Salami Sports Complex on Wednesday, 8th January when the club would be confronting its team B in a friendly match.
The match according to the media officer of 3SC, JubrilArowolo was put together for everybody to see the newly recruited players and give their candid advises and opinion to the management of the team.
Meanwhile, some section of the team’s supporter have applauded the sack of the former management board of the club, claiming the crop of people that made up the board lacks wherewithal to successfully manage the relegated club back to Premier League.
Reacting to the development, a fan that identified himself as John Alawode who spoke with newsmen at the training ground of the club said “although the recent sack was of all the boards of parastatal in Oyo State was done by the governor without any prejudice, but to further strengthen governance of the state is a good omen for 3SC.
“We have been nursing fears over the ability of the board to deliver desired results, as we all know that none of the board members is knowledgeable about Nigerian League not to talk of helping a club like Shooting Stars back to premier League. We cannot not but to thank our Governor for his timely coincidental action”, the fans noted.
