Oba Aromolaran Unity Cup: States Champion Emerge

Champions have emerged in about 26 State across the federation after a state’s play-off to participate in finals of the National Under-18 Soccer Championship instituted in the name of the paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolan.
The finals of soccer tourney which would be played in Ilesa according to the organizing secretary of the organizer of the tourney Femi Onanuga of A Square Sports International was introduced as the contribution of the respected monarch to the youths and grassroots sports development in the country.
Onanuga also informed that the official unveiling of the soccer tourney and trophy presentation, according would be done at the palace of the Owa Obokun of Ijaseland in Ilesa where details and modalities concerning the football championship would also be unveil to the general public.
“Oba Aromolaran has been a good lover of youths and advocate of development of Nigerian sports, especially at the very grassroots, so exhibiting this is just one of the many ways he had been pointing out for our sports administrators, well meaning individuals to toe in saving our teeming youths from the pangs of poverty and idleness”, Onanuga noted.
He added that after the state play-off which had just been concluded in all states of the federations, the state champion would converge in Ilesa on 17 January for the finals.
