Sampdoria Sporting Director Insists Okaka Is Under Contract

Sampdoria sporting director, Carlo Osti, has played down reports linking Stefano Okaka, 24, with a move away from the club ahead of the re - opening of the transfer market.
The Italian - Nigeria is being courted by Istanbul side Galatasaray as well as Bundesliga campaigners Schalke 04 on the back of his fine displays in the Serie A since he was snapped up by Sampdoria.
“Okaka? He is a player under contract with Sampdoria until 2016. Has done very well in the second half of the season. Must thank Sampdoria, which have shown great confidence in him to acquire him from Parma.
“Mihajlovic has done everything to understand how important he is for us,” says Carlo Osti to TV station, Telenord.
Stefano Okaka recorded 5 goals in 13 Serie A matches for Sampdoria this past season.
