Published: September 20, 2014
AC Milan loanee Nnamdi Oduamadi netted his first ever goal for Crotone in their 2 - 0 defeat of hosts Bologna on Saturday.
His goal eight minutes from time at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara added more gloss to the scoreline after Steve Beleck had given Crotone the lead just after the resumption of the second half.
“Yes I am very happy scoring my first goal for Crotone, and it came at the right time. There is no reason behind our poor start to the season, we just have to put in more effort in our games.
“With my form now and I am training harder, with the help of God I can meet my personal target of goals at the end of the first stanza, ” a delighted Nnamdi Oduamadi said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Letting the cat out of the bag, should the Nigeria international score 15 goals at the halfway stage of the season, he will be entitled to a huge bonus.
Crotone sit 15th on the 22 - team Serie B table after four matches played in the championship.
