Olarenwaju Kayode started off the scoring for the home team in the 15th minute, only for Jakobovich to restore parity for Maccabi Petah Tikva six minutes later.
Eran Levi then netted from the spot in the 26th minute to restore Maccabi Netanya’s one - goal cushion, before Ben Dayan leveled matters again.
Ben Shoshan (57th) and Kayode (64th) put Maccabi Netanya in cruise mode with two well taken goals, but

In their next fixture, Maccabi Netanya, who are provisionally 10th on the table, will entertain pacesetters Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
