Work Permit Might Scupper Nnamdi Oduamadi Move To Crystal Palace, Winger Admits
Published: November 17, 2014
Nnamdi Oduamadi is angling for a move to Crystal Palace but has confessed that the transfer might not materialize due to the strict work permit requirements in the United Kingdom.
Over the last two years, the Crotone winger has played less than 75 percent of national team matches, meaning he is not eligible for a work permit.
It had earlier been reported that the Nigeria international was watched at close quarters by scouts representing Crystal Palace in the Serie B clash between Brescia and Crotone in October.
“Yes, Crystal Palace came to watch me and they are interested, but the problem is securing a work permit, let’s see what happens
“It has been my dream to play in the English Premier League. I have to keep working hard because many teams are also interested,” said Nnamdi Oduamadi to SL10.ng.
Nnamdi Oduamadi, who has spent the last four years in Italy, is tied to AC Milan until June 30, 2018.
