Monaco Coach Refuses To Fret Over Echiejile Injury

AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim has allayed fears over the severity of the injury suffered by Elderson Echiejile against Lens on Tuesday .
The Nigeria international had to be substituted five minutes from time at the Stade Louis II by Lucas Ocampos after complaining of a hip problem.
Speaking at a press conference, Leonardo Jardim refused to fret over the injury, saying it was a minor issue though he did not comment on the number of days he will have to spend on the sidelines.
Additional tests have been carried out by club medics, and the left back has been diagnosed with a strained psoas.
Elderson Echiejile has made 7 appearances out of a possible 16 for the Principality outfit this term.
