UEFA Youth League Round Up: Dominic Solanke And Aaron Eyoma On Target For Londoners; Liverpool Starlet Ejaria Benched

Seven Nigerian teenagers were in action for their respective clubs while three others were unused substitutes.

Aaron Eyoma registered his name on the score - sheet in the 47th minute as the Gunners defeated the Turkish side 3 - 1 in Istanbul.

The 17 - year - old midfielder had 96 minutes of game time under his belt in the group stage. Arsenal are through to the knock - out round.

Liverpool - Basel
Surprisingly Oluwasheyi Ojo was not amongst the scorers, as Liverpool thrashed their Swiss opponents 3 - 0. Ojo tasted action for 90 minutes and picked up a caution in the 11th minute.

On the other hand, ex Arsenal starlet Ovie Ejaria, 17,  was an unused substitute. He was a second half substitute against Real Madrid back in October.

Midfielder Fidelis Irhene started and completed the game, his fourth of the competition for the Portuguese powerhouse.

Following the 1 - 1 draw, Porto qualified for the last 16, having accumulated 9 points, same with Athletic Club, but they have a better goal difference.

Chelsea - Sporting Lisbon
Chelsea defeated Sporting 6 - 0, with Dominic Solanke netting a hat - trick for the Londoners. Solanke, Temitayo Aina, Fikayo Tomori were handed starting berths by coach Adi Viveash.

Ike Ugbo, still only 16 years, made the 18 - man squad. His only appearance in the competition was against Maribor in October.
