17yo Nigerian striker set to be named in Arsenal squad v Slavia, travels with first team to Prague
Published: November 04, 2025
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Arsenal youngster Andre Harriman-Annous looks set to be involved with the first-team squad for the UEFA Champions League match against Slavia Prague on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old forward, an England U18 international of Nigerian descent, was promoted to first-team training on Monday ahead of the Gunners’ trip to the Czech Republic.
Harriman-Annous was not named in Arsenal’s UEFA Youth League squad for the under-19 fixture against Slavia Prague, indicating his focus will be with the senior side.
Harriman-Annous has been rewarded for his recent performances, having made his full debut for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup fourth round last week.
The talented forward started against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium, featuring for 77 minutes as Arsenal secured a 2–0 victory to progress to the quarterfinals.
Striker Viktor Gyokeres is ruled out through injury, opening the door for Harriman-Annous to provide Mikel Arteta with another option in attack.
The Gunners are currently facing multiple absences in the forward positions, with Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard all unavailable for selection.
Harriman-Annous's inclusion in the first-team squad for the Champions League marks another step in his rapid progression at Arsenal, as he continues to gain experience at the senior level.
The match against Slavia Prague is scheduled for Tuesday, and Harriman-Annous has traveled with the squad and will be available for selection.
