Exclusive : Chinese Club Set To Open Talks With John Ogu
Published: December 12, 2014
According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com’s editorial staff, a Chinese Super League club are exploring ways to sign Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder John Ogu.
The Nigeria international joined Hapoel Beer Sheva in the summer transfer market on a 1 +3 year deal, but he could depart the club less than four months after pledging his future to them, as he is attracting concrete interest from China.
In order not to put a spanner in ongoing negotiations, the identity of the Asian club is termed classified information for now.
Should John Ogu and Hapoel Be’er Sheva agree terms with the mysterious club, his annual wages will increase four - fold, bearing in mind that he pockets $150,000 per season now.
A product of Flying Sport Academy, the central midfielder previously defended the colours of teams in Slovenia, Spain and Portugal.
