Published: December 16, 2014
Red Star Belgrade loanee Ifeanyi Onyilo has ruled out a return to the Serbian champions when the agreement they have with Ermis Aradippou expires at the end of this season.
The former European champions will be impressed with the attacker’s 8 goals in 12 matches in the Cypriot First Division.
“I don’t think I’ll return to Red Star Belgrade because I don’t even have plans to go back there. Although I am on loan but from here I move to some other place.
“Red Star delayed me a lot when I was in Serbia, and within them they know I don’t want to stay with them, so we see before the ending of the season on what to do,” Ifeanyi Onyilo confided to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 24 - year - old has scored almost half of the goals scored by Ermis Aradippou in the top - tier, but he has insisted that the weight on his shoulders was not too much.
“No i don’t have any weight or pressure but the team look up to me to help in every game because they believe so much in me.
“Sometimes I don’t score, some of my teammates score but with me on the field we have more confidence to attack any team,” he said.
Ifeanyi Onyilo was not registered by Red Star Belgrade for the Serbian Superliga at the start of the 2014 - 2015 season.
