Moses Simon, Kingsley Madu To MISS African Youth Championship
Published: February 20, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Gent striker Moses Simon will miss the African Youth Championship contrary to reports in the local media that suggested that he will shuttle between Senegal and Belgium during the tournament.
This website has been doing some digging to verify that claim, and it can be revealed that Gent will NOT release him for the tournament, as they are playing some crucial matches during that period.
And the same applies to AS Trencin defender Kingsley Madu. The Slovak topflight club have not sanctioned his trip to Senegal.
Remember that at the 2011 AYC, VVV Venlo struck a deal with the Nigeria Federation for Ahmed Musa to play the opening match against Ghana before returning to the Dutch club.
The African Under 20 Championship comes up in Dakar and Mbour from March 8 - 22.
