Osas Happy With Wikki Move
Published: March 06, 2015
Former Kogi United attacking midfielder Osas Eghe has spoken of his delight at joining Nigeria Professional Football League club Wikki Tourists.
The midfielder ended his long rumoured move to Bauchi last week by signing on the dotted line for Abdul Maikaba’s team.
The young midfielder spoke about how he is going to cement himself in the starting eleven and do well for his new team.
“I am very happy to join a big club like Wikki Tourists and I am glad all speculations regarding my future have come to an end.
“I know it won’t be easy to get a starting place, the competition is very stiff and for me to get more time I must work extra harder.
“My gratitude also goes to the entire Kogi United family for the chance to excel at the highest level.
Osas, who has been on Wikki’s radar for a long time, was in a sparkling form for Kogi United in the 2013/14 Nigeria National League season.
