Nigerian Players Suspended In Malta By Football Association

The Disciplinary Committee of the Malta Football Association has suspended two Nigerian players ahead of this weekend’s matches in the Premier League.
Qormi striker Alfred Effiong will not be available for selection after picking up his fourth booking of the season last Saturday against Mosta in his 200th appearance in the league.
On the other hand, Birkirkara goalkeeper Ini Etim Akpan will sit out the clash against Floriana on Sunday after he was sanctioned by the MFA.
In the second - tier, John Nwoba of Gzira United has been handed a three - match ban.
The 25 - year - old joined Gzira United from Zebbug Rangers in the winter transfer market.
